Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) is proud to announce Sydney Swans star Logan McDonald as our newest ambassador – and he’s already kicked things off with a heartwarming visit to Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

Logan recently spent the day brightening the halls of the Short Stay Surgical Unit and Adolescent wards, where he met with young patients, siblings and families going through some tough times. With Swans merchandise in hand, and plenty of time to chat and take photos, Logan brought a special kind of energy that only someone with a genuine passion for lifting others up can provide.

Whether it was swapping stories, sharing dreams, or handing out signed gear, Logan made a lasting impact on every child and parent he met. His visit was a reminder that even on the hardest days, joy, connection and hope still have a place.

“I want every kid to know that tough times don’t have to define you,” Logan shared. “You can still dream big, push through, and achieve incredible things – no matter what you're facing.”

“I’m really proud to come on board as an SCHF ambassador and I look forward to achieving amazing things together.”

Logan’s commitment to inspiring young people goes beyond the field. As an SCHF ambassador, he’s joining us in our mission to change the future for sick kids – because every sick kid deserves the brightest possible tomorrow.

We’re thrilled to have Logan on the team and look forward to working together to raise vital funds, awareness, and support for the kids, families, and frontline staff across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network.
