SCHF gives thanks to BIG W

SCHF were delighted to recently host a morning tea for regional managers, store managers and team members from BIG W stores across New South Wales.

This event was in gratitude for the top performing stores fundraising for the 2021 Christmas Token Campaign and the 2022 Easter Token Campaign, welcoming the teams from Plumpton, Warrawong, Gungahlin, and Pagewood.

During the morning tea, our visitors enjoyed hearing from the wonderful Janet Burke, Child Life Therapist at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, who spoke about the impact and importance of Child Life Therapy in supporting children attending hospital. After this informative session, guests participated in a Child Life Therapy volunteer session.

SCHF is so grateful and honoured to have a longstanding partnership with BIG W, spanning over 26 years. Over this time, BIG W have made a direct impact to the landscape of children’s healthcare, raising over $8.2 million!

We want to say a big thank you to all BIG W team members across 53 News South Wales stores who are all in for kids’ health.
