City2Surf 2023

In just a few short months, Sydneysiders will lace up their running shoes on Sunday 13 August for the world’s largest fun run, City2Surf. Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) is now calling on our Movement of Many to register and fundraise for Team SCHF to help give sick kids the running start they deserve.

Returning as the event’s leading charity, SCHF has been blown away by the support of our unstoppable changemakers who have already jumped on board to run 14km from Sydney CBD to Bondi Beach for sick kids.

Among our returning fundraisers is one very special team, Team Abigail the Brave who have taken on an exciting new role as a Patient Ambassador.

Now 16 months old, cheeky Abigail was born with a small pituitary gland and received care from almost every Sydney paedatric hospital and service SCHF supports by her first birthday.

Her proud mum, Adrienne says “We are incredibly honoured to help give back as a patient ambassador and go all in for kids’ health at this year’s City2Surf.”

This year, SCHF has set an ambitious and record-breaking target of $700,000 for sick and injured kids across NSW and beyond. Funds raised will go directly to the frontline of children’s healthcare - from the hospital wards to the treatment rooms, the research labs and to the outreach programs.

To save $26 off your registration fee and conquer Heartbreak Hill with Team SCHF,
