On Tuesday 2 December, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) will ignite joy and generosity with a bold, immersive activation that bursts with colour, energy, and festive spirit. Designed to captivate hearts and spark excitement, SCHF's Christmas Wonderland transforms the everyday into a vibrant celebration of community and giving.

What is Giving Day?

SCHF’s Christmas Appeal Giving Day is a special day that invites families, supporters and passers-by to come together to help change the future for sick kids.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of DOOLEYS, every donation made on Giving Day will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000. This means your gift goes twice as far for sick kids this Christmas.  To donate click here.

How can I get involved?

Join in the festivities at SCHF’s Christmas Wonderland.

Date: Tuesday, 2 December
Location: Martin Place (between Pitt St and Castlereagh St)
Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Our Giving Day celebration at Martin Place includes:

  • Ausgrid Photobooth

  • Butterboy Cookies

  • Sydney Swans Badge Making

  • SCHF Chillzone

  • Giveaways & more!

Through a playful explosion of purple, this activation creates a space where families, supporters, and passers-by are drawn in by the unexpected and delighted by the experience.

It’s a place to pause, connect, and celebrate the season where every detail works together to inspire smiles, spark curiosity, and leave a lasting impression.

You can also have twice the impact by making a donation on Giving Day! Every donation made on Giving Day will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000 thanks to DOOLEYS.

More than just a visual spectacle, SCHF's Christmas Wonderland is a joyful invitation to engage with the SCHF mission in a way that’s memorable, meaningful, and full of festive cheer.
