Bringing brightness from home to the hospital this Christmas

This festive season we can help all sick kids have the brightest Christmas possible. But we couldn't do it without the help of generous supporters like you.

For some kids, Christmas is far from what it should be. Instead of playdates there are appointments and instead of sleepovers there are stays. Last December alone, more than 7,100 kids spent time in Sydney’s children’s hospitals over the festive season and more than 450 kids visited the emergency departments on Christmas Eve and Day alone.

This festive season we can help all sick kids have the brightest Christmas possible. But we couldn’t do it without the help of generous supporters like you.

Our 2022 Light Up Xmas appeal will launch on the 7 November, hoping to raise much needed funds to provide kids access to the best possible healthcare, whenever and wherever they need it.

Tune in to Channel Nine on Saturday 17 December from 2pm – 4pm for our Light Up Xmas Appeal broadcast where we will share beautiful stories from sick kids and their families.

Lights for Kids - Proudly presented by Ausgrid

We are excited that Lights for Kids is back, bigger, and brighter than ever and this year, we are thrilled to have Ausgrid on board as our presenting partner!

The festive season is almost upon us, and we wanted to ask if you would light up your home this year as a part of our Lights for Kids campaign and help give sick kids who will be spending time in hospital the brightest Christmas possible. By decorating your house this year and getting involved in our Lights for Kids campaign, you will be helping light the way for Santa to find the hospitals on Christmas Eve.

We’re so excited to see all the displays this year and hope you will join us to give sick kids the brightest Christmas possible.
