Silver Party 2025: Driving meaningful change for children’s healthcare

The Silver Party Committee and Justin Hemmes

Silver Party 2025 was an unforgettable event, bringing together a dedicated community committed to improving healthcare for sick kids, particularly those facing mental health challenges. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, donors, and sponsors, we raised an extraordinary $3.7 million and counting for Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.

These funds will support life-saving emergency care, research, the Newborn & Paediatric Emergency Transport Service, and vital mental health initiatives like the Safe Haven – a dedicated space designed to provide immediate, compassionate care for young people in distress. With youth mental health concerns on the rise, this support will help prevent crises, reduce hospitalisations, and ensure better outcomes for children and teens in need.

The impact of this support on children’s mental health
Every year, more than 10,000 young people in Australia seek emergency care following a self-harm or suicide attempt. Accessible, compassionate mental health support is essential, and your generosity is making a real difference.

Thanks to your support, we are giving young people a place to turn before they reach crisis point. We are supporting families navigating the complexities of mental illness. Most importantly, we are ensuring that children struggling with their mental health know they are not alone.

Keep the momentum going by supporting children’s healthcare
The need for better healthcare for sick kids does not end with this event. Whether through donations, advocacy, or spreading awareness, we invite you to stay part of this movement. Together, we can help create a brighter, healthier future for all children.

Thank you for being part of Silver Party 2025 and for believing in a future where every child gets the care they need, when they need it most.

Donate. Advocate. Make a difference.
