All in with DOOLEYS

DOOLEYS Clubs $1 million donation towards world-leading clinical trials is a big step forward for kids with cancer.

With a strong focus on community, DOOLEYS Clubs has extended their ongoing support to the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) through their commitment of $1 million over the next five years. This honourable donation made possible through their ClubGRANTS initiative will continue to fund vital clinical trials and research for the Cancer Centre for Children at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Every year, over 750 Australian families receive devastating news that their child has cancer. Despite ground-breaking medical research increasing survival rates for these families, there is still more research that needs to be done to ensure all children can live their healthiest lives.

Since the commencement of their support in 2003, DOOLEYS Clubs has contributed over $2.1 million in funding to help achieve the best possible health outcomes for children living with cancer. Their support of clinical trials continues to achieve great results, with donations helping to retain the brightest minds in cancer research. In its first year, the funds also allowed for seven clinical trials to commence, which has since helped hundreds of children undergoing life-saving cancer treatment.

The warmly welcomed extension of DOOLEYS Clubs support to SCHF means that more children will be able to live their best lives today and have infinite possibilities tomorrow. With three Australian children losing their brave battle against cancer each week, and one in five receiving news that their condition cannot be cured, this partnership brings hope to children and families across NSW and beyond.

We are so privileged to be the recipient of such a generous donation from DOOLEYS Clubs and thank the team for their ongoing commitment and support towards healthy kids, whatever it takes. This important partnership will continue to drive important health outcomes for the children of today, tomorrow and into the future.
