Like most people around the country, and around the world, we started the year with cautious optimism, not knowing exactly how the pandemic would affect us as we rolled into 2022.
But, after months of virtual meetings and online events, SCHF was finally able to hold its very first face-to-face networking and information night for 2022.
It was an evening of insight and inspiration, celebrating the connection with our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities.

It was an evening of insight and inspiration, celebrating the connection with our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities.
Held in collaboration with specialist multicultural agency Cultural Perspectives, SCHF shared information on who we are, what we do and how connected we are to the many diverse communities that represent the patients and families seen across Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN).
The evening opened many conversations between attendees, with possible collaborations on the horizon between a long-term SCHF donor and Cultural Perspectives, as well as commitment from the amazing Way In Network, to include SCHF as a beneficiary of their 30th Anniversary gala dinner.
