Grab your picnic rug and pack your snacks – our beloved Bandaged Bear Fundraiser is back for its 33rd year in 2022

There’s never been a better time to get together for a picnic - to eat, drink and be merry, all while raising funds for sick kids.

This March, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) launches its iconic 33rd annual Bandaged Bear fundraiser, kicking off this year with a Bandaged Bear Picnic.

Between 18 – 24 March, every sandwich you eat, every scone you cover in cream and every sausage roll you dip in tomato sauce will help raise funds for the 80,000 sick and injured kids who visit The Children’s Hospital at Westmead every year for life-saving care.

Getting together with family, friends or colleagues for a picnic is just one of many ways you can join in and show these children you’re there. You can also host a morning tea, organise a dress up day, visit our shop and buy some merchandise or simply make a donation.

Every event you hold and every donation you make between 18 24 March makes an incredible impact to the lives of the sick kids who visit The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Your support not only contributes to lifesaving equipment, training and education, but also helps to fund ground-breaking and innovative research to change one kid’s life today and future-proof the health of all kids tomorrow.
