All in with Coles

To acknowledge Childhood Cancer Awareness Month each September, we team with Coles Group to raise vital funds for the Oncology Departments across Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network.

As part of their commitment to making a difference for children affected by cancer, Coles launched a two-week $2 Coles Card Campaign on 1 September 2022 and raised and incredible $507,000.

Funds directed to Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, were directed to the Oncology Fellowship Program to support the specialised training and development of up-and-coming doctors.

At The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, funds were used for specialised clinical care, research, and other specialist therapies to support oncology patients.

Coles have been supporting Oncology Fellowships at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick since 2001. In 2020, the support expanded to include the oncology department at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and has raised over $5million over this 22 year partnership.

Last September, SCHF’s Corporate Engagement team visited over 65 stores during the campaign to offer encouragement, give thanks and provide support to Coles Team Members who went above and beyond with additional fundraising activities such as BBQ’s, bake sales, raffles and even a Trivia night.
