Doing it For my CF Warrior
May CF awareness month and I've decided to challenge my self, like my little man Lucas does everyday to just Breathe. So I have not been on a push bike in nearly 29 years but for the month of may I will be riding 65kms to help raising some much needed funds for the Cystic fibrosis clinic at westmead childrens hospital. To help keep some of our valuable staff on, like our psychologists Stella who is worth her weight in gold. She has been working with Lucas and our Family the last few months and without her Lucas would not be striving and kicking goals. She not only helps Lucas but our whole Family on this CF roller-coaster where from one day to the next we never know what we r about to have to face. The hospital Funds only go so far, so our family is doing our bit too.I'm raising funds for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation!
This May I am taking up bike riding after a 29-year hiatus. My aim is to ride 65km in the month of May. This will be a challenge but our boy and those with CF are challenged every single day.
