St Spyridon Parish - 30th Annual St Spyridon Championship Golf Day
Since its establishment in 1991 by Fr Steven Scoutas, who famously said, “If the golfers won’t come to church, then the church will go to the golfers,” the St Spyridon Golf Day has grown into a proud and much-loved community tradition. The event was brought to life through the vision and organisation of Johnny Jonson, whose early efforts helped create a lasting legacy.
Across the past 29 events, the St Spyridon Golf Day has raised over $700,000 for Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, supporting vital care for children and families in need.
After a short break, we are proud to return in 2026 for the 30th Annual St Spyridon Golf Day at Bonnie Doon Golf Club, the very venue where the event first began.
We invite players, sponsors and supporters to be part of this special milestone through golf participation, sponsorship packages, donations, raffle prizes and auction items.
The day will include golf, an awards dinner, raffles and a live auction, with all fundraising efforts supporting our major beneficiary, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.
