Dear E Jay, Tin, Brent, Flo & Dazza, Our deepest condolences for the loss of your dear husband and loving dad. Our thoughts are with you all and we are here for you. Take comfort to know that he is at peace and in a beautiful place of happiness meeting up with loved ones and buddies from the past. Words cannot express the sadness we all feel for the loss of Uncle Barry/Yi Gung/Tai Yi Gung. He will be missed dearly, but will be remembered fondly by us all. Dear Uncle Barry, Where do I start? The thought of you not being here brings an ache to my heart and tears fill my eyes. You have been around for me through the good, bad and the toughest of times. I am thankful for having you in my life and forever grateful for your love, support and just being around for us when we needed it the most especially for my Mum, Vic, myself. There are so, so many happy and fun memories, but it is impossible to put them all down here so here are a just a few... It puts a smile on my face thinking back when you were dating E Jay and you brought her beautiful long stemmed red roses that smelt amazing, Mei Biw Jare and I going on dates with the both of you, you putting me up on your shoulders at your date with E Jay at the David Cassidy Concert, you walking Julie down the aisle, You with Bill/Vic/Lincoln back in the days at Mowbray Rd, your thick glasses (Vic said this ha ha), the family & friends gatherings, lunches, dinners with you, Tiffany licking you to death and almost knocking you off the dining chair, being my “swimming” buddy etc etc et. Thank you for just being there. So, so many fond memories that will be treasured. I will reminisce and remember these times with a smile. Enjoy watching us from above. I’ll see you in my dreams. We will forever cherish the memories of the many Christmases spent in your home and the gatherings we shared at the Hornsby RSL. He will be deeply missed.

Dear Uncle Barry, We had good fun playing tennis. I'll remember you fondly enjoying your wonton and half roast duck, our mystery tours, turning up to Costco then realising there was a $60 membership then turning back. Your love of BBQs, sausages, your "blue" steaks, diet Coke and all food in general! I was very fortunate that when you retired from work that you chose me to be your mystery tour guide and to show you how to travel on public transport. We had many great adventures both long and short. Thanks for being there for me especially when times weren't so good. You're like a second dad to me. I'll miss you, but I'll always remember the good times, the laughter and the fun we had together. You are a very thoughtful person, highly intelligent and a caring gentleman. There are so many more fond memories I have of you, that it would take forever to put down in words, but I know that you know. You'll always be in my heart.
