Fundraising to Support Paediatric Cancer Surgery at Westmead Children’s Hospital
Our son David was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in his neck. Thanks to the extraordinary skill and care of Dr Erik La Hei and Associate Professor Jonathan Karpelowsky, David underwent successful surgery at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
We are forever grateful to these incredible surgeons and the entire paediatric surgical oncology team who gave David the chance to thrive.
For my 40th birthday I respectfully request my family and friends to contribute to this fundraising page; which is dedicated to supporting the Paediatric Surgery Department that helps children like David every day — facing cancer with courage and care.
All funds raised will go directly to support their work at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, helping provide vital equipment, research, and resources for children with cancer and the surgical teams who care for them.
