Help raise much needed funds for Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation
This year on November 1st marks what would have been my little sister Angela’s 18th birthday. Even though she is no longer here to celebrate, the life she lived is worth honouring. To mark this milestone, myself along with a few friends will be running 18 kilometres in memory of Angela, with the goal of raising $1,800 to donate in her name.
The funds will go to Bear Cottage a special part of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation. Bear Cottage is the only children’s hospice in NSW, providing comfort, care, and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. It is a place filled with love and compassion, making the hardest of times a little more gentle.
Every dollar raised helps Bear Cottage continue to offer this world-class, family-focused care. Supporting them means supporting children and families when they need it most.
