The Hero of Waterloo is holding a very special evening celebrating Valda's remarkable career and her significan contribution to Sydney's live music scene.
The Lord Mayor, Clover Moore, will unveil a magnificent portrait of Valda, painted by artist Cindy Scharka, followed by music from our resident Jazz band, canapes and drinks.
We will also be raising funds for the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation, a charity close to Valda's heart.
Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation supports Australia's leading paediatric health services, offering a safe and friendly healing environment for children from NSW and beyond. Every dollar we raise contributes to keeping our hospitals running at a world class, award-winning level.
