About A Bear Affair
A Bear Affair is our annual Gala Ball to raise critical funds to support paediatric palliative care programs at Bear Cottage. Bear Cottage is the only children's hospice in NSW - a very special place that's dedicated to caring for children with life-limiting conditions. ​
Since the inaugural event in 2002, A Bear Affair has supported the incredible work and services the Bear Cottage offers to children and families going through the toughest times on their lives.
Held annually, A Bear Affair features star-studded entertainment, special guests and fundraising initiatives such as live and silent auction prizes, raffles, donations and sponsorship opportunities.
Since it's inception, A Bear Affair has raised over $6 million to support paediatric and palliative care programs at Bear Cottage
