Vivid Sydney 2025: Five magical experiences for kids

6 June 2025 | Expected time to read: 3-4 minutes

Vivid Sydney 2025 is illuminating the city from 23 May until 14 June, transforming Sydney into a vibrant playground of lights, music and food. With many family-friendly installations, interactive experiences and free events, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore the city and create unforgettable memories with your little ones.

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation is proud to be the official charity partner for Vivid Sydney 2025. To help you join in the fun, we’re sharing five magical experiences for kids and families to enjoy together.

Colour The City

See the creativity of kids come to life at Colour the City, where the historic ASN Clock Tower becomes a giant living canvas. Every week of the festival, selected artworks are projected for all to see – including artworks from patients across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network.

As the official charity partner for Vivid Sydney 2025, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation are proud to help bring these powerful and joyful visions to life. It’s a reminder of the resilience, courage and imagination of the children we support.
