SCHF’s signature events raise vital funds and give our community an in-person opportunity to hear about the impact of their donations. They’re also a lot of fun!  Read on to discover what’s on our event calendar this year.

The Grace Gala

The Grace Gala began in 2007 and raises funds to support The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation. In 2023, this event raised a record-breaking $1.2 million. Our beautiful Grace Gala event blends all-important fundraising with live music, dancing and delicious food. This is a date not to miss on the calendar as this signature event keeps growing; we know this year will not disappoint and will be the biggest and best Grace Gala to date!

A Bear Affair

A Bear Affair is an annual gala dinner that raises critical funds in support of the paediatric palliative care programs at Bear Cottage – the only children’s hospice in NSW, located in Manly. A Bear Affair is an unmissable and highly anticipated Gala that helps make a difference in the lives of kids with life-limiting conditions.

When: Saturday, 14th September 2024

Venue: Four Seasons, Sydney

How can you get involved?
Our mission is to provide the best possible care and treatment for sick and injured children wherever and whenever they need it. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to have the support of incredible individuals and organisations who share our commitment to this cause.

These events raise funds through sponsorship opportunities, live and silent auctions, pledging, raffles, golden tickets, and generous donations.
