APCD has created their own team for City2Surf - supporting Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation and joining our force of unstoppable changemakers. As the presenting partner for SCHF, they are also our dollar matching partner of up to $50,000. This means that every dollar of community support raised for SCHF through City2Surf, will be matched by APCD!

APCD provides better access to IT assets to businesses and professionals across Australia and New Zealand. Their central goal of improving the lives of people with IT needs perfectly aligns with SCHF’s goal to provide sick and injured children with the healthcare they need.

Danielle Warren, National Client Solutions Manager, APCD, says "The inspiration behind APCD’s support for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation was born out of a heartfelt recognition of the tireless work this remarkable organisation undertakes each day, we were profoundly moved by their ceaseless efforts to make a difference in the lives of children in need.

"Our decision to partner with Team SCHF for City2Surf came from a shared passion for creating lasting impact. The marathon not only encourages camaraderie but also serves as an opportunity to spread awareness and raise funds for the children who need it the most. By aligning with this noble cause, APCD wants to inspire others in our network and beyond to step up, make a difference and run towards a brighter future for these children.”

APCD knows they don’t exist in isolation, recognising the role the community has played in their success, and sees giving back as more than just a responsibility – but also as an integral part of their corporate culture.

“By supporting and fostering the community, we don’t just strengthen the fabric of society but also nurture an environment where everyone can thrive.”

APCD has created their own team, and has participated in City2Surf every year since 2014, typically as part of the Fun Run section.

Danielle Warren says, “We believe that the City2Surf is the most enjoyable when you are not focused on winning a race and beating fellow competitors, but rather on the bonding time, you get to have with your cohorts, as well as pushing yourself outside your comfort zone to do something beneficial for a community at large.”

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation is proud to welcome APCD into our Movement of Many and joins APCD in encouraging people to sign up for Team SCHF.

As part of our Movement of Many, which is 70,000 people strong, drawn from different groups, backgrounds and perspectives. With one foot at the front line, and one in the future, we're here for those who deserve our all. By supporting Team SCHF, APCD is supporting our mission to help all sick kids, no matter where, no matter what.

Danielle says it best, “this is more than just a marathon. It’s an opportunity to be a part of a cause bigger than yourself. Every stride you take with your group will contribute towards the betterment of countless children. Don’t be afraid to give it a go, as 14km is small compared to the difference you make!”
