Emma Watkins is a beloved children’s entertainer and advocate for inclusivity, that has spent years bringing joy to children through music, dance, and storytelling. Now performing as Emma Memma, she continues to captivate young audiences through the power of music, dance, and sign language, with a strong focus on inclusivity for children who use visual communication systems. Emma’s ability to connect with children through creative expression makes her a cherished advocate for children’s health and wellbeing.
“I have been visiting children and their families at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick and The Children's Hospital at Westmead for the last 15 years. So, when Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation approached me and asked me if I would consider taking on an official ambassador role, I was honoured to accept.
My relationship with Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation has mostly consisted of bringing moments of fun and play to children by performing in the hospitals, meeting children, reading stories and joining in singalongs around seasonal times for families who couldn't make it home for the holidays.”
Thank you, Emma, for using the power of music and movement to make a difference in children's lives!
