Yan’s Jazz Children Donations
My name is Yan Wu, the double bassist from the performances you recently attended. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your generous donation and to share the personal story behind this initiative.
In 2021, my thirteen-year-old son, Will, was struck by a car in Manly. He was placed in an induced coma and airlifted to Sydney Children’s Hospital. Thanks to the rapid helicopter transport and the world-class medical care funded by the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, Will made a miraculous full recovery.
In deep gratitude for the life-saving care he received, I have organized this jazz music initiative to raise funds for the Foundation. Your support ensures they can continue providing advanced facilities and essential care for other children in need.
