Tablet count
Day one - 33I'm raising funds for Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation!
May is Cystic Fibrosis awareness month, and it’s a good opportunity for us to raise some funds to support the team who support us - the Cystic Fibrosis clinic at Children’s Hospital Westmead - and their plan to be able to fund a psychologist to support those with CF and their families.
Team Jones has two little miracles with CF - Josh (11) and Evie (5). CF is a life long and life shortening condition affecting lots of the body, but particularly the lungs and digestive systems. Evie and Josh both have access to Trikafta (thanks to the PBS) which has been amazing in reducing their CF symptoms but there are still SO MANY TABLETS!
With that in mind, my May Challenge is to do 5 squats every time one of the kids takes a tablet throughout the day. I’m also asking you to consider what you could do to be challenged in some way - everyone can get involved in Team Jones!
Please also consider giving to support our clinic - they do so much to support us! Perhaps you can sponsor Josh and Evie for each tablet that they take for a day (approx 30), week (approx 210), or the whole month of May (just shy of 1,000). I’ll keep a tally and keep you updated on the numbers!
Thank you for your support - it means the world.
Claire
