I'm raising funds for Bear Cottage through Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation!
IBear Cottage is a children’s hospice and the only one in NSW. Bear Cottage provides respite, symptom management, end of life care and after death care to children from birth to 18 years with life limiting and terminal conditions. Psychosocial care and support are also provided to parents, siblings and grandparents.
Bear Cottage is a home away from home for these children and their families and the Registered Nurses provide holistic, comprehensive care during a child’s stay. Our Nurses have a willingness to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care in what can often be a challenging situation.
