Fundraise for SCHF
We rely on the generosity of our community to fundraise and help deliver world-class care to sick and injured kids, now and into the future.
Whether you’re hosting a fundraiser, going solo or rallying a group, going sporty or thinking outside the box, there’s lots of ways you can get involved and fundraise for sick kids.
We’ll be with you every step of the way – cheering you on, helping you get started, and amplifying your impact in supporting a charity that’s helping sick kids. Together, we can change the future for all kids, no matter where, no matter what.
Ways to fundraise for SCHF
In memory
Fundraising in someone’s memory is a special and meaningful way to remember them. You can honour their memory and help others at the same time.
In celebration
If you’re having a birthday, wedding, anniversary or other special event, ask for donations instead of gifts.
Something sporty
Set a goal and challenge yourself or a group of mates to a sport of your choice. Raising vital funds for sick kids is the ultimate motivation and will no doubt, add a spring to your step.
Donation tins
Place donation tins at your work, school, sports club or local community centre to collect donations. You can also have them at your fundraising event.
At a workplace
Hosting a work event, challenging your colleagues, participating in a team fundraiser? These are great ways to help sick kids by asking your family and friends to help support your fundraising efforts.
At a school
Fundraising at school can be a brilliant experience for kids, teachers and parents. There are lots of different ways to get involved including hosting a cake stall, playground games or a simple gold coin donation.
Stream Team
Whether you’re streaming a gaming session on Twitch, a cooking class on Facebook, a sing-along on Instagram or pulling some dance moves on TikTok, live streaming a fundraising event is a new and exciting way to raise money for sick kids.
Bunnings BBQs
If you have visited your local Bunnings store on a weekend, no doubt you would have seen or smelled their iconic community Sausage Sizzle BBQ out the front of the store. You too can host a BBQ and fundraise for SCHF!
At your own event
If you’re already planning your own event, then why not add a fundraising element to it? Whether it’s via ticket sales, selling raffle tickets or doing a live auction, SCHF can support with posters, flyers and help from volunteers.
Your own idea
Sometimes the best fundraising ideas are your own. Be creative, make it fun, unique or something special to you. We’re always keen to hear new ways of raising money for sick kids.
Sponsor a fundraiser
We're lucky to have thousands of people in our community who fundraise for us each and every day of the year. Show them your support by making a donation on their fundraising page.
