Unstoppable Changemaker: Marie Tesoriero – Made by Cool Marie

30 Nov 1999
When she was young, Marie Tesoriero had three major surgeries at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

When she was older, Marie navigated two bus journeys to donate her pocket money to SCHF’s Gold Telethon. Marie’s wonderful gesture was promoted by Channel 9, prompting countless messages of support from inspired community members.

With her love for craft and making gifts, Marie came up with the idea of selling her craft work and continuing to raise funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, hence her business “Made by Cool Marie” was born.
