Implementation Science

30 Nov 2020

The SCHN Population Child Health Research Group brings together experts from many disciplines, communities and governing bodies to apply research on three priority areas:

  • Integrated Care for rural and disadvantaged children and young people
  • First 2000 Days
  • Priority Populations

Our work aims to allow equitable access to complex care for children and young people regardless of where they live or their socio-economic status. We have developed scalable interventions for at-risk populations based on translational research that focuses on improving health systems for children and young people.

We are addressing the changing needs of children and young people through research that boosts the understanding of the determinants of poor health in this population and informs technology-enabled, effective interventions that can be implemented by existing practitioners.
