Nicola is a philanthropy advisor and board director whose career includes senior leadership roles at International Development organisations. Nicola brings experience in global philanthropy and governance, child protection and humanitarian response.
 
At Lumos Foundation, founded by author J.K. Rowling, Nicola was Global Director of Fundraising and Engagement, responsible for high value partnerships and ambassadors, digital transformation and communications. At ActionAid International, she served as Head of Global Fundraising, responsible for an investment portfolio driving growth in new and established philanthropic markets around the world. Her passion for child protection work began at Save the Children, as part of the Global Emergency Response Team working along the Kenya-Somalia border during the East Africa Food Crisis.
 
Nicola is a Non-Executive Director of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation and Chairs the Philanthropy Committee for The Arise Fund Leadership Circle, investing in climate resilience work globally. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and Henley Business School in the UK.
