Kate is a marketing and communications leader with more than two decades of global experience helping organisations build purpose-driven brands. Her expertise spans purpose-led corporate brand strategy, corporate brand reputation, integrated marketing campaigns, executive communications, social impact and fundraising, digital storytelling, technology and content marketing.
She began her career in the education sector before spending 17 years at Edelman, where she advised global companies across the U.S., Asia-Pacific and Australia on brand, marketing and fundraising campaigns. As Chief Client and Operations Officer, she led a team of more than 100 consultants, with a broad remit to create a cohesive, unified and inclusive culture to support innovative, creative and strategic thinking for clients.
Her work has included leading the Lower Manhattan Public Information Campaign in the aftermath of 9/11 (PR Week/PRSA Digital Campaign of the Year), creating GE Australia’s award-winning digital content program, and building the KFC Youth Foundation (Mumbrella’s CSR Campaign of the Year, 2019).
Kate is recognised for her ability to combine creativity with impact. She is currently a Board Member for Hospitals United for Sick Kids, and completed a Global Fellow with the International Women’s Forum (IWF), studying leadership at INSEAD and Harvard Business School. She is a member of IWF Australia, the Fundraising Institute of Australia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She was a 2025 finalist in the Mi3 CMO Awards and named as a 2023 Mover and Shaker by Fundraising & Philanthropy.
