Little kids explore the world by moving around in it

Many kids at the Hospital cannot get around on their own as the traditional electric wheelchairs are too big for them – kids like 2-year-old Theo.

This little man suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1, which is a genetic disease that affects the parts of his nervous system that controls his movement. This means that Theo can't run around and play like a normal kid, until now.

Thanks to people like you, we were recently able to purchase Wizzybug scooters and make one of them part of Theo’s treatment plan.

This genius machine allows Theo to move, play, and explore his surroundings independently, like other toddlers his age.
