Silver Party raises over $1 million for the Kids Cancer Centre11 March 2019
On Friday 8 March 2019 more than 300 guests gathered at our annual Silver Party raising over $1 million for the Kids Cancer Centre at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
The black-tie event was held at ‘Swifts,’ thanks to the generosity of its owners Shane and Penny Moran, and guests were transported back to the Silver Screen – the theme for the evening.
Channel 9’s Richard Wilkins led the fundraising proceedings and introduced Associate Professor Tracey O’Brien, Director of the Kids Cancer Centre (KCC) who explained the mission of the KCC and the difference philanthropy has made in the treatment of cancer.
The KCC’s mission is simple – it’s to care deeply and to cure quickly and funds raised at Silver Party will help them on their quest to achieve this by providing cutting-edge research, innovative medicines and world-class treatment.
A huge thank you to everyone who made Silver Party such a wonderful success – your support really will make a difference to kids with cancer.
