National Volunteer Week (18-24 May)

17 May 2020

During National Volunteer Week we acknowledge the generous contribution made by volunteers across our nation.

In an ordinary year, volunteers across Australia contribute an estimated 743 million hours to the community, however, 2020 has shone a light on volunteers like never before. During drought, fires, floods and now a global pandemic, they have been at the frontline across the nation, offering a helping hand wherever it is needed.

So this week we salute them all - and especially our own wonderful volunteers who help to ensure that Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation can continue raising vital funds to help sick kids.

Thank you for everything you do to make a difference.
