Lights for Kids launches!

7 November 2019

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation’s annual festive fundraising initiative Lights for Kids has launched!  With less than 50 days to go, can you be someone who lights up Christmas for sick kids by decorating your home in festive lights?

This festive season we’re calling on the community to help light up Christmas for sick kids. One easy way to get involved is by signing up to Lights for Kids. By decorating your home in Christmas lights, you’ll be brightening the lives of young patients in hospital.

Lights for Kids helps support patients and families who need The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

Each year the hospitals care for over 155,000 critically ill and injured children with 95,000 of those coming through the Emergency Department’s doors.

Every dollar raised helps to light the way in medical advances by funding state-of-the-art equipment, the best and brightest practitioners and pioneering research.

How to get involved:

  1. Register to take part
  2. Decorate your home with lights
  3. Share your beautiful display with the community and encourage visitors to donate
  4. Send us photos of your magical displays - @SydneyKids #LightUpChristmas

Spread some joy and sign up to Lights for Kids today!
