Celebrating the diversity of the kids and community we care for

15 January 2021

Diversity- it’s the seven-letter word that holds many different meanings. For us, it’s at the heart of our mission to create positive change through supporting clinical research, paediatric care and community engagement.

Our goal is to support SCHN in providing world-leading healthcare to children, no matter where they are or what condition they’re living with. From broken bones to treating cancer, we can support world-class paediatric care.

Sickness can strike at any time, at any place which is why we are committed to ensuring they receive the best possible care, when and where they need it. In order to provide every family with the services and community support they need, we celebrate diversity in all its forms. This means;

  • Supporting the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network’s brightest minds and their diverse ways of thinking, to help discover life-saving breakthroughs.
  • Ensuring sick kids with rare and common diseases have access to diverse treatments.
  • Assisting diverse teams across the largest paediatric network of care, to better reflect the communities we serve.
  • And providing sick kids in regional and remote areas with access to the best possible care, when and wherever they may need it.

The work of the Foundation has never been more important to address the diverse challenges we face.  As we look to support every child, no matter where they live, or what condition they are living with, your support is essential. We hope you can join us in celebrating the beauty that is diversity with us over the next few months.
