Celebrating 19 years of partnership with Goldman Sachs17 June 2019
To ensure we can always give world class care to each and every sick kid that needs us, we rely on the generous support of the Corporate community to rally their workers and get involved in workplace giving.
Goldman Sachs has been a long-term supporter of Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, raising over $500,000 through workplace giving since 2000. These funds have made a huge difference in the lives of sick kids, going towards the latest medical equipment, research and critical care services.
Their staff have been passionate fundraisers for the Hospital, with a team of ten staff members visiting the hospital in May as part of their Corporate Community Volunteering Day. They spent time with our Child Life Therapy team helping to make activity packs for our patients, as well as helping upgrade the Intensive Care Unit courtyard.
Goldman Sachs as a company has also been instrumental in their support; offering matched giving of their staff’s donations, meaning double the impact for our sick kids. As well as this, they have supported many of our large fundraising events over the years.
We are so appreciative of their support and want to say thank you on behalf of the children and their families who will benefit. We truly thank them for their inspiring efforts that will make an immediate difference in the lives of those who need it most.
