About the Kids Cancer Centre Race Day
The Kids Cancer Centre Race Day is a new event for 2018 and part of the ‘Racing for Life’ legacy set up by a group of dedicated parents whose children had been treated by the Kids Cancer Centre. They came together to give back and help make a significant difference to the lives of children being diagnosed today.
Recognised internationally as a centre of excellence, the Kids Cancer Centre is a comprehensive treatment and research facility providing care to children and adolescents with cancer and blood diseases. Each year, it treats more than 140 newly diagnosed patients giving them the best possible chance to live a happy and healthy life.
Your ticket will include the chance to watch the Colgate Optic White Stakes Day from the premium position of the Grand Ballroom, a sumptuous three course meal, entertainment and the opportunity to take part in ‘fashions on the field’ competition.
To date, ‘Racing for Life’ has raised $750,000 to help sicks kids at the Kids Cancer Centre at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
