Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation - Gold

Gold

Our patients, families and staff thank our Gold partners for their generosity and commitment to our Hospital.

Austereo’s leading Sydney radio station, 2DayFM, donates on air promotions and support for a number of our campaigns, including Gold Week.

The Australian Fund Managers hold the naming rights to the Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy ward, and are longstanding supporters of the Hospital, with the original support beginning with the “Bulls and Bears Event”. Their generous donations are now raised through an annual Fund Managers Awards night, with the funds specified to a different area of the Hospital each year.
Elizabeth Beveridge has a long history of support for Sydney Children’s Hospital. In memory of her late husband John Beveridge, who was the founder of the Hospital, Elizabeth has contributed greatly to almost every area of the Hospital, including the establishment of the annual John Beveridge Oration.
Comedy for Kids has raised over $250, 000 through their annual fundraising dinner featuring a stellar line up of comedians, great prizes and delicious food.
Fairfax is a longstanding partner of the Foundation, supporting us through media and advertising, Gold Week and workplace giving donations. Their support is proof that every little dollar counts, with their Workplace Giving donations making up the bulk of their contributions to the brave young patients at SCH.
Goldman Sachs has supported us since 2004 through workplace giving donations and is an avid supporter of Gold Week, with staff volunteering each year in our Hospital to “turn it Gold for Gold Week”. They are a testament to our workplace giving program, and are one of our flagship corporates who help make a difference to little lives.
The Annual Fundraising Ball that Kids For Life holds has generously supported the Hospital for a number of years in the areas of Neurology and now the Child Protection Unit.
Lion is a long term supporter of the Hospital, heavily assisting fundraising activities with the donation of beverages for every major fundraising Foundation event.
Mallesons has supported us through Gold Dinner and Gold Week, and is one of our generous workplace giving partners. Their support over the years has touched many areas of the Hospital, with their recent donations being specified to our biggest service, the Centre for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders. We are truly grateful for the ongoing support from Mallesons.
The Nelune Foundation is a generous supporter of our Cancer Centre, with their support funding a brain tumour care nurse to care for our seriously ill children with brain tumours. Their support is essential to this specialised area of the Hospital, and we are truly grateful to have their philanthropy.
St Spyridon Parish has been holding their annual Golf Day in support of the Hospital for over 20 years. Their contribution has impacted various areas of the Hospital with recent support funding an Endocrinology Fellow.
Terrace Tower Holdings is a generous supporter of the Hospital, donating through Gold Dinner and other Foundation fundraising events. Terrace also holds the naming rights to Ambulatory Care, the backbone of the Hospital.

The Cornucopia Committee has supported the Hospital since 1996, and their support is helping our most vulnerable children - those cared for by our Child Protection Unit. Without the support of the Cornucopia Committee, many of the services we provide to our children would not be available.
The Steven Walter Foundation raises funds through the annual Snowy River Ride, a motorcycle ride through the snowy mountains of NSW. Their support for our Cancer Service is essential, funding a much needed fellowship to train future paediatric oncologist specialists of the future.

Touched By Olivia Foundation has rasied over $660,000 and enabled the purchase of life-saving medical equipment through various fundraising events and activities. The Touched by Olivia Foundation Vascular Birthmarks Clinical and Research Fellowship was launched in 2009 and plays a significant role in helping the Hospital position itself as a centre of excellence in Vascular Birthmarks.
Peter Wilson is an ultra marathon runner who is a hero to the staff and patients at Sydney Children’s Hospital, having raised over $300,000 over the last two years by competing in some of the world’s most punishing and challenging footraces.
