About Us

The number one priority of Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation is to provide significant financial assistance to Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

As the principal fundraising body for the Hospital, the Foundation works with individuals, businesses and organisations in the community to provide monetary and in-kind contributions to the Hospital, which helps to:

• purchase the most up-to-date lifesaving medical equipment;
• train Fellows, young doctors learning to become the medical specialists of the future;
• fund research into cures for childhood diseases; and
• renovate Hospital wards to create a positive healing environment for our young patients.

We also operate the BigPond Star Café and the Gift Shop, from which all profits are donated back to the Hospital.

The Foundation prides itself on operating in an honest and open manner, with respect for our patients and their families as well as the staff and volunteers at the Hospital. We aim to achieve concrete results, while remaining accountable to our generous donors and supporters.

As a member of Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia, we work in collaboration with our counterparts around the country to keep the nation’s children happy and healthy.
