Every year we admit some 15,000 children and provide over 290,000 occasions of care through our emergency, outpatient and outreach services.

We also focus on multiple child health research projects continually pioneering initiatives that improve outcomes for both this and future generations of sick and injured children.

Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation

We are the principal fundraising body for the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.

Established in 1986, The Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation is a company limited by guarantee, dedicated to working with the community to improve the quality of life for this and future generations of seriously ill children.

The Foundation helps the Hospital to purchase state of the art medical equipment and financially support life saving services, as well as undertake medical and child health research.

We have a vital and continuing role in preserving and enhancing the services and standard of healthcare provided by the Sydney Children's Hospital for our sick and injured children.

We are committed to the pursuit of world-class standards in the quality of our services, the efficiency of our fundraising, our transparency, integrity, cost-effectiveness, accessibility and the correctness and effectiveness of good governance and administration.

In an era of rising healthcare costs, the challenge for us is not only to maintain community support for the Hospital, but also to increase it.
